| Description | Craig was a captain of a Tennessee volunteer company, Jackson's Army, in the War of 1812, and he later served at Fort Claiborne, Alabama in the Creek and Seminole Wars. The scrapbook contains letters, inventories, military orders, accounts, muster lists, and ration lists; it provides a military service record during Jackson's campaigns on the Coosa River, the lower Alabama River, and the Mobile River. It deals specifically with the activities of the 2nd Regiment of Tennessee at Mobile and Fort Claiborne, Alabama. |
