| Description | This company was originally Company A, 1st Battalion of Hilliard's Legion. It became Company F, 60th Alabama Infantry following reorganization at Charleston, Tennessee, after the Battle of Chickamauga in 1863. It later saw action in Virginia. The book contains information about the soldiers in the company (including names, physical descriptions, homes, and occupations), and it gives details about clothing and ordnance accounts. Also included are two letters written in 1911, discussing the book. |
