Description	A photo from a World War I album created by Etna Sands shows Lillian Warner, Lanett War Service Station Secretary, standing in front of the Lanett War Service Station's float. A float parade was the first of many events in the city's Fourth of July celebration in 1918. The parade began at 8:30 a.m. in front of Lanett Cotton Mill. Other events of the day included foot races, a patriotic concert by the Lanett Mill Band, an auto race, and a baseball game.
