Item Title	Muhammad Ali shaking hands with Al Dixon, a disc jockey for radio station WXBI, on the football field during homecoming activities for Alabama State College on Thanksgiving Day in Montgomery, Alabama.
Description	Policemen are standing beside them. Officer Sidney Williams is behind Dixon. The Turkey Day Classic, the annual football game between Alabama State and Tuskegee Institute, was played the same day this photograph was taken. Ali was in Montgomery while on a tour of colleges throughout the South. This image was taken for (but not used in) the article "The Champ Comes to Tuskegee" by Leon S. White, which appeared on page 1 of the Southern Courier for December 3-4, 1966. The article discusses Ali's visit to Tuskegee the previous week, rather than his appearance at the football game in Montgomery.
