Additional information submitted by Booth Malone in April 2011. Originally there was only an item title for the image (not a description). Malone submitted his information in an email dated 4 April 2011, which read read as follows (line spacing indicated by slashes): "Re: Q4256, Photo of Lt. Lee of Lee's Battery. Edgar Lee entered the service as Sgt. in the "Montgomery True Blues" which became Co G of 3rd Alabama Regiment. This company was disbanded as infantry in Feb '62 and reconstituted as an artillery unit . So this photograph dates from sometime in 1862 probably. / Booth Malone / 706-563-6505"
