Alabama state agencies , political blogs, and historical web sites collection, 1996-ongoing
Since 2005 the Alabama Dept. of Archives and History (ADAH) has worked to preserve Alabama state agency web sites via The Internet Archive. The web sites on Archive-It are arranged in the following collections, some of which are further subdivided: Alabama Constitutional Officers collection, Alabama Legislature and Appellate Courts collection, Alabama Regional, Multi-State or Multi-County Agencies or Commissions collection, Alabama Political BLOGs collection, Alabama State Agencies collection, and Alabama State Agency Facebook pages, Alabama State Agency Twitter Feeds, and Alabama State Agency YouTube videos collection. Material typically becomes available on The Internet Archive six months or so after being collected. |

Collection contains the four-volume set compiled by the founder and first Director of the Alabama Department of Archives and History, Thomas McAdory Owen. The series was published after his death by his wife, Marie Bankhead Owen. |

Collection contains several hundred ex-slave narratives, life histories, short stories, and folklore of Alabama life composed as part of the Works Progress Administration (WPA) Federal Writers’ Project during the Great Depression. |
